FAQ for Renting 💡

Can I make a one way rental ?

Yes, you can make a one way rental to the main cities in Vietnam! But this include some shipping fees depending on the distance from HCMC and the size of the motorbike. For example, the shipping fees for a one way rental to Hanoï are usually around $50.

Can I keep the bike longer than my initial renting ?

Yes, you can keep your motorbike longer than what we initially dealt in the contract. No rush, you can decide that even during the last days of rental.

But be careful! The extra days price will be calculated without taking into account the first deal. Meaning if you booked your motorbike for one month with the discount for long period, then you want to extend for 1 week, the price of the week will not be the same as the first discounted price.

Can I be refunded if I bring back the bike earlier than my initial renting ?

Unfortunately once the contract is signed and paid, I cannot refund you the difference. If you are not sure about the exact number of days you need then let me know from the beginning and we will find the best solution for you.

Do I need to do some maintenance ?

Yes! Wether you buy or rent the bike, you are responsible for the good maintenance of the bike during your trip. This is the warranty for you to travel safe and avoid any mechanical issue.

You must do oil change every 600 km and send me a picture proof.

Is there any warranty ?

Yes, when you rent a motorbike from my shop I provide a 100% warranty on the engine and the other parts EXCLUDING the tires.

Is there an insurance ?

No, we do not provide any insurance and in Vietnam it is impossible for foreigners to benefit from a vehicle insurance in the conditions of a holiday ride. Anything happening will be your own responsability...

That's why we ask you to be careful and responsible on the road. Here people are driving slowly, max 60km/h on the country side, so don't take too much risks and follow the local driving style.

What if I crash the bike ?

I hope this will not happen of course! But if it does then we will evaluate the damages based on current market price and we will take the money from your initial deposit. If the deposit is not enough to cover the damages, then we kindly ask that you pay the rest.

What if the bike get stolen ?

If your bike get stolen, unfortunately you'll have to pay the market price of the bike.

But don't panic, Vietnam is a really safe country and the risk of getting your bike stolen is very low. Neverthless, we recommand you to always be vigilant when you park your bike to avoid any unnecessary risk.

Also in the cities you cannot park your bike where you want, you must find a hotel or a parking lot.

To avoid any mistake, you should always ask the locals before parking your bike anywhere.

Can I get the blue card ?

In the context of renting you are not the owner of the bike so we don't give you the blue card. You'll have an official contract proving that you are actually renting the bike.
